Order Ticket

A stationary feature on the platform, Order Ticket is located on the right corner of the upper navigational bar. Similar to the Alerts, Settings, and Knowledge Center navigational bar buttons, Order Ticket will remain in the same location and will always be accessible regardless of how small or large you scale your platform window, as well as how many tool windows you have open in your workspace.

This provides direct access to the full trade ticket for stocks, options, and futures and allows for comprehensive order setups, including options, spreads, conditionals, and automated order types.  

To analyze the strategy built in the order ticket, click the Snapshot Analysis tab to view the risk/reward profile along with other pertinent information such as earnings announcements and upcoming dividend dates. Notice you can slide over the risk/reward graph to adjust for potential stock price changes to see how that could impact the theoretical profits or losses to the strategy. Please note that probabilities are subject to change based on factors such as market conditions and changes in volatility.

Click on Analyze in TradeLab at the lower left corner to access both the Snapshot Analysis and Spectral Analysis tools. The Spectral Map is an interactive visualization of market gain percentages that allows you to simulate various “what-if” scenarios. You can input a specific underlying price or slide the price along the vertical axis, as well as move through time until expiration by sliding the date along the horizontal axis. While you move through various price and time scenarios, you'll notice the projected theoretical market gains update, as will the Spectral Slice.

In the Greek Risk Metrics section, you can select to view the what-if metrics as their Greek values (Delta, Gamma, Theta, Vega, Rho), or in “plain” English. English will break down the meanings behind each specific Greek value. For example, as opposed to labeling a value as simply "delta," the value will be displayed as "price sensitivity."

Quick Action

Easily reach key platform features with minimal clicks via the Quick Action menu, accessed by clicking on any value displayed on a position's line item. A left click on a bid or ask price will bring up the order ticket, prepopulated with the according underlying symbol. A left click on the symbol name or any other value displayed will display the Quick Action menu, allowing for one-click access to commonly used tools.

• Quote: launches a new Quote Detail tool window to reveal a wide array of technical and fundamental data along with news, Social Sentiment, and more
• Chart: opens a new Chart tool window prepopulated with the according symbol
• Options: displays the underlying symbol's option chain in a new window
• Analyze: loads the Snapshot Analysis tool reflecting risk/reward probabilities for the given position
• Watch List: facilitates streamlined ability to add the selected symbol to an existing watch list
• Alert: quickly establish a custom price alert on the selected symbol
• Grouping: launch the custom grouping tool and add the selected symbol or manage custom groups
• Exit Plan: easily input target profit and loss prices for an open position and have them automatically translated into an order template
• Earnings: launches a new Earnings tool window to reveal historical EPS and move values in both chart and table format

Right Click Menu

The right-click menu is accessible from most tools, with customized menu options providing access to additional platform features. To access this menu, hover over a data row  and use the right click button on your mouse. The menu that appears will provide access to the following:

• Trade: open the full capacity order ticket where you can build stock, ETF, simple and complex options, and futures orders
• Quote: view comprehensive data from the Quote Detail tool, including an interactive price chart, Fundamentals, Analyst ratings, Social Sentiment, News, and Time and Sales
• Chart: open the dynamic product chart, including 145+ studies and drawing tools, along with the ability to build views and trade right from the chart
• Options: access extensive, streaming option data on a customizable Option Chain, viewable as Call/Put or Spreads
• Add to Watch List: select from a menu of your custom watch lists
• Create Alert: quickly construct a price alert for an underlying symbol or specific option.  Once created, this alert can be tracked or edited within the Alert Book accessible from the bell icon on the navigation bar

When accessing the Quick Action tool menu from the Positions tool, you will gain access to additional platform features beyond those listed above:

• Trade: one-click ability to adjust, close, or roll an existing position, or construct a new order for the same underlying symbol
• Analyze: evaluate an options trade’s risk/reward profile with Snapshot Analysis, or click into TradeLab at the bottom of this window to view what-if Greek metrics, along with an interactive Spectral map of projected market gain
• Custom Grouping: organize the display of your positions based on custom pairings
• Exit Planner: set up exit strategies to help limit risk or lock in potential profits by entering your profit target and stop loss amount, and quickly set up the according order
