These are the minimum requirements to download and open Power E*TRADE Desktop.

How do I add or remove windows in my default home screen?
When you first launch the app, your home screen will automatically display some of the popular tools we offer on the platform to help you get started.
To add tools, click the "Tools" tab to display all the available tools and features.
To further optimize the home screen, you can drag and position tools across multiple monitors, plus adjust window size. You can also simultaneously view other applications or a browser window alongside Power E*TRADE Desktop.
How do I set up a new workspace?
Workspaces allow you to organize Power E*TRADE Desktop based on what views, features, and tools are important to you. You can save up to six workspaces.
To create a new workspace, click the “+” button located on the menu bar, which will bring up a blank canvas. Build your workspace by adding new tools, adjusting windows based on your monitor size, and linking multiple windows to show data for a single ticker symbol. You can create multiple workspaces for different purposes based on your trading strategy, account types, research goals, and more. A workspace can be renamed by clicking the workspace tab and then clicking “Rename Workspace” in the menu.
To delete a workspace, click the workspace tab and select “Delete Workspace” from the menu.
How do I change accounts on Power E*TRADE Desktop?
You may change accounts across the entire platform (or across all windows) by clicking on the Account dropdown in the top left corner of the main Tool Bar. If you would like to change the selected account for a specific Tool, you may do so within the Account drop-down menu located in the top left corner of the individual tool window.
What is window linking and how do I do it?
Linking windows via ticker symbol allows you to view data for a particular symbol across multiple windows with one click instead of manually updating each window with the symbol you’re watching.
To link windows via symbol, click the link icon on the right of the symbol search bar in any window. Select a color to create a link for the symbol. Apply this same symbol link to any other window by clicking the link icon within the window.
Can I simultaneously use Power E*TRADE Desktop and Etrade.com?
Yes, you can use both simultaneously if Etrade.com is launched from E*TRADE Desktop. You may do so by first clicking the “Tools” tab to display a dropdown menu, then click on “Launch E*TRADE.com” located in the top right corner of the dropdown.
