By 2035, California will join over a dozen countries in banning sales of new gas-powered cars. Environmental policies are among several catalysts accelerating electric vehicle (EV) adoption and disrupting personal transportation. EVs are key in efforts to reduce emissions, with US penetration forecast to grow from about 0.5% today to 25% by 2030.
