PRIIPs Regulation Requirements
This page is intended to provide access to Key Information Documents (“KIDs”) pursuant to European Union (“EU”) regulation No. 1286/2014 (“PRIIPs Regulation”). PRIIPs Regulations impact customers who are residents within the European Economic Area (“EEA”) and purchase packaged retail and insurance-based investment products (“PRIIPs”), which include mutual funds, exchange-traded products like ETFs and ETNs, and derivative products such as futures, options, and options on futures, among others. Please note US customers are not impacted by PRIIPs Regulations.
Currently, the only PRIIPs available at E*TRADE to retail customers in the EEA are futures, options, and options on futures. PRIIPs Regulations require the issuer or manufacturer of a PRIIP to develop and provide a KID that contains important information regarding the PRIIP in order to enhance investor protection and allow retail investors the ability to compare products. KIDs for all futures, options, and options on futures products available at E*TRADE are provided in the links below.
E*TRADE does not create, review, or approve the content of any KID; they are created by the issuer of the PRIIP. E*TRADE is not responsible for the accuracy or reliability of any information found in the KIDs. KIDs are not marketing material; they are legally mandated documents intended for your benefit so that you may review relevant information related to your purchase of a PRIIP.
Below are links to the KIDs developed and provided by CME Group, ICE US, and the Options Clearing Corporation (OCC) for the futures, options, and options on futures products that are available for trading at E*TRADE.
