E*TRADE Bank and E*TRADE Savings Bank are merging into Morgan Stanley Private Bank, National Association. Here’s what you need to know.

Now that E*TRADE and Morgan Stanley have joined forces, we’re combining our banking services. On or after January 1, 2022, both E*TRADE Bank and E*TRADE Savings Bank will merge into Morgan Stanley Private Bank, National Association (“Merger”). Upon completion of the merger, Morgan Stanley Private Bank, National Association (“Morgan Stanley Private Bank”) will become the resulting bank.

IMPORTANT:
No action is required on your part as a result of this Merger.

Whether you have an E*TRADE Bank account or an E*TRADE Securities account with cash management features, this Merger will not affect how you access, manage, or view your account and money at E*TRADE. You will continue to use etrade.com for your everyday banking.

Below are the updated Agreements and Terms and Conditions that will take effect at the completion of the Merger on or after January 1, 2022. Printed versions of documents below are available upon request.

Please note when the banks merge, personal information that we collect, or have collected, from or about you in connection with a bank financial product or service will be shared with Morgan Stanley Private Bank and will be governed by the E*TRADE Privacy Statement with respect to E*TRADE’s provision of services to Morgan Stanley Private Bank and by the Morgan Stanley U.S. Privacy Policy and Notice and the Morgan Stanley Wealth Management U.S. Consumer Privacy Notice with respect to Morgan Stanley Private Bank’s role as your financial product or service provider.
