Dave Whitmore
Senior Strategist, Trader Education, E*TRADE Securities LLC

Dave Whitmore is a Senior Strategist of Trader Education with E*TRADE Securities LLC. Dave has been teaching investments and trading for more than twenty years. He has worked with thousands of investors, at events and online, and taught a wide range of topics, including technical analysis, stock fundamentals, stock selection, risk management, options, and exchange-traded funds. Dave holds an MBA from New York University and a BA in business economics from the University of California at Santa Barbara. He lives in New Jersey with his wife and two children where he enjoys high school sports, competitive dance, golf, skiing, Jeopardy, jazz, and amateur ornithology. 

Rick Swope
Senior Strategist, Investor Education, E*TRADE Securities LLC

Rick Swope is a Senior Strategist of Investor Education with E*TRADE Securities LLC. As a veteran in the industry, Rick has presented at hundreds of seminars across the U.S. and around the world. His expertise covers technical analysis, market strategy, and risk management. He has extensive media experience, including a regional PBS weekly show, a national PBS pledge program, and numerous radio and television appearances. He is the principal author of the Amazon best seller, Five Points for Trading Success (Wiley, 2007) and co-author of Trading By Numbers (Wiley, 2012). Rick’s teaching includes corporate training as well as six years as an adjunct engineering instructor. He studied in the disciplines of engineering, mathematics, operations research, and statistics. He is married with two children and resides in Atlanta, GA.

Shawn Howell
Senior Strategist, Investor Education, E*TRADE Securities LLC

Shawn joins the E*TRADE education team after two decades as a trader, author, educator, and executive for some of the financial industry's leading brokerage and training firms, including Charles Schwab, Investools, and Thinkorswim Group. In 2009 Shawn co-founded Pro Market Advisors, E*TRADE's education partner for many years. In 2012 Shawn co-authored Trading by Numbers: Scoring Strategies for Every Market (Wiley). Shawn holds the FINRA Series 7 license.

Todd Rich
Senior Strategist, Investor Education, E*TRADE Securities LLC

Todd Rich is a Senior Strategist of Investor Education with E*TRADE Securities LLC. Todd joined E*TRADE with the acquisition of OptionsHouse, where he was President of OptionMonster, an education and media entity. He’s had an extensive career in the financial industry, having been a market maker on the floor of the Chicago Board Options Exchange, and then migrating into working directly for the exchanges with stints at Eurex, BOX Options, and the New York Stock Exchange. He is well-versed in options trading as well as market structure. He has both a BA and MBA from UCLA. Although having grown up in California, he now lives in Chicago with his wife and two sons.

Sarah Jamieson
Senior Futures Strategist, E*TRADE Futures LLC

Sarah Jamieson is a Senior Futures Strategist for E*TRADE Futures LLC. She has 14 years of experience in the trading industry. She started her career on the trading floor of the Chicago Board of Trade as a runner and clerk, then as an independent grains trader. She transitioned into the retail side of business to help educate traders on futures strategies both in outrights and options. Some of her educational articles have been featured in Modern Trader Magazine. Recently married, Sarah resides with her husband in Chicago, Illinois.
