Dave Whitmore
Senior Strategist, Trader Education, E*TRADE Securities LLC

Dave Whitmore is a Senior Strategist of Trader Education with E*TRADE Securities LLC. Dave has been teaching investments and trading for more than twenty years. He has worked with thousands of investors, at events and online, and taught a wide range of topics, including technical analysis, stock fundamentals, stock selection, risk management, options, and exchange-traded funds. Dave holds an MBA from New York University and a BA in business economics from the University of California at Santa Barbara. He lives in New Jersey with his wife and two children where he enjoys high school sports, competitive dance, golf, skiing, Jeopardy, jazz, and amateur ornithology. 

Rick Santelli
On-Air Editor, CNBC

Rick Santelli joined CNBC as on-air editor in June 1999, reporting live from the floor of the Chicago Mercantile Exchange. His focus is primarily on interest rates, foreign exchange and the Federal Reserve. 

Santelli is a regular contributor to CNBC's "Squawk on the Street " (M-F, 9AM-11AM ET).

A veteran trader and financial executive, Santelli has provided live reports on the markets in print and on local and national radio and television. He joined CNBC from the Institutional Financial Futures and Options at Sanwa Futures, L.L.C. There, he was a vice president handling institutional trading and hedge accounts for a variety of futures related products.

Prior to that, Santelli worked as vice president of Institutional Futures and Options at Rand Financial Services Inc., served as managing director at the Derivative Products Group of Geldermann Inc., and was vice president in charge of Interest Rate Futures and Options at the Chicago Board of Trade for Drexel, Burnham, Lambert. Santelli began his career in 1979 as a trader and order-filler at the Chicago Mercantile Exchange in a variety of markets, including gold, lumber, CDs, T-bills, foreign currencies and livestock.

He is a graduate of the University of Illinois Champaign/Urbana with a Bachelor of Science degree. Santelli has been a member of both the Chicago Mercantile Exchange and the Chicago Board of Trade.

Kevin P. Davitt
Senior Instructor, Cboe Global Markets, The Options Institute

Kevin Davitt is a Senior Instructor at Cboe Global Markets in The Options Institute, which is the educational arm of the exchange.  

Kevin joined Cboe in 2015. Prior to his work with The Options Institute, he was a successful Market Maker on the floor of the Cboe and PHLX for LETCO Trading/TD Options as well as Market Street Securities.

Davitt traded a variety of equity, ETF, and index options between 1999 and 2007. He also has extensive experience in commodity futures and option trading. Kevin has worked with retail and institutional clientele in a brokerage capacity.

Davitt has provided commentary for Bloomberg, Reuters, Fidelity, Barchart, Inside Futures, Options Insider Radio, and various other market-based media. He is a graduate of Marquette University with a degree in finance and political science. Kevin is a proud Evans Scholar Alum. Outside of work he enjoys time with his wife, young son, and dog. Kevin likes to read, run, and see live music.

Steve Claussen
Vice President, Trader Strategy, E*TRADE Securities LLC

An industry veteran and proven leader, Mr. Claussen is responsible for defining and implementing E*TRADE’s active trader strategy across several product verticals.

Mr. Claussen was the head of client strategy at OptionsHouse prior to its purchase by E*TRADE in 2016. Before joining OptionsHouse, Mr. Claussen spent several years at Wachovia Securities, LLC, as head of derivatives trading. Previously, Mr. Claussen spent five years overseas in Tokyo and London as executive director head of trading for Swiss Bank Corp, focused on Asia-Pacific derivative products.

Mr. Claussen began his trading career trading futures on the floor of the Chicago Board of Trade and progressed to the Chicago Board Options Exchange as head market maker for O’Connor and Associates, LLC, trading in the SPX and OEX options trading pits.

Mr. Claussen earned his BA in history from Valparaiso University.

Daniel Ryba
Vice President, Futures Brokerage, E*TRADE Futures LLC

Mr. Ryba is responsible for the futures brokerage business at E*TRADE Futures. He has worked in the financial services industry for more than 17 years, including at CME Group Incorporated (“CME Group”) and E*TRADE Securities LLC. At CME Group, Mr. Ryba was responsible for retail client development and sales. Before that, Mr. Ryba was Director of Active Trading Services at E*TRADE Securities LLC, where he was charged with growing the E*TRADE Securities LLC active trading client base and option, futures, and forex businesses.
